Job Specific
- Food preparation: hot and cold breakfast food and drinks
- Setting up and replenishing all food items
- Cleans and maintains kitchen, equipment, utensils, service and eating areas
- Operates cooking equipment
- Remain highly visible and be readily available for guests at all times
- Take initiative to offer assistance or answer hotel guest's questions
- Close out shift by cleaning and restocking supplies for next day or shift
- Maintains Brand Standards and Health Department requirements
- Be upbeat, friendly, outgoing, understanding, and empathetic at all times.
- Empathetically listen to guest inquiries and provide appropriate responses.
- Maintain confidentiality of all guests and hotel information.
- Maintain complete knowledge at all times of all hotel features/services, hours of operation, room types, numbers, layout, decor, appointments and locations, room rates, special packages and promotions.
- Be familiar and able to offer suggestions on local attractions and businesses.
- Deliver personalized, memorable guest experiences.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.
- Demonstrates working knowledge and team effort in accomplishing additional projects as assigned
Qualifications
Prior customer service skills/experience is a plus, previous hotel experience/education is extremely beneficial; however, your personality, integrity, passion for customer service, determination for career growth and overall attitude are the most important. We are dedicated to thoroughly training & developing our team into hotel leaders through interactive teamwork in a positive work environment!
- Previous hotel and/or customer service experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management, and co-workers, both in person and by telephone.
- Ability to work cohesively with co-workers both within and outside of your department.
- Previous cashiering experience is preferred.
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 30 pounds without assistance.
- Stand for an extended period or for duration of work shift.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
