Minimum Job Requirements:
Medical doctor with 3 to 5 years of directly related experience which may include residency in a directly related medical specialty.
Federal DEA Certification; Medical Specialty License or Certification; Board certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty.

Position Overview
As a Primary Care Physician at Coastal Health, you will:
- Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical exams, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for a specified patient population.
- Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.
- Refer patients to specialists and coordinate care as needed.
- Work collaboratively with a team that includes 1 Nurse Practitioner and 1 part-time physician.
- Participate in health promotion, education, and prevention programs as needed.
- Follow established departmental policies and safety/infection control standards.
Qualified Candidates Must
- Be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Hold or be eligible for an unrestricted license to practice in Florida
- Have no history of license revocation, restriction, or suspension
- Have a current, unrestricted DEA registration

- Medical Doctor (M.D. or D.O.) with 3–5 years of directly related experience (including residency)

- Ability to assess, observe, and document symptoms and progress
- Knowledge of medical care standards, pharmaceuticals, and patient care protocols
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
- Experience training or advising clinical staff is a plus

- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to supervise, advice, and train clinical professionals and/or students in area of expertise.
- Ability to develop and present educational programs and/or workshops.
