Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Toast POS
- Take customer orders accurately and relay them promptly to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages with enthusiasm, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining areas to promote a welcoming environment
- Assist in processing payments accurately at the POS terminal while practicing proper phone etiquette for reservation calls or inquiries
Experience
- Prior Waitress experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
- Background in food service or restaurant operations highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations expertise
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor
