We are seeking a dynamic and personable Waitstaff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service, exceptional customer service skills, and experience working in fine dining or upscale environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver memorable guest experiences while working in a vibrant, hospitality-focused setting.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring clear communication of guest preferences.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Assist with food handling, preparation, and sanitation protocols to uphold food safety standards.
- Support other team members with bussing, cleaning, and setup duties during busy service hours.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service roles, including serving, hosting, or bussing within restaurant or hospitality environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and reservations management.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with fine dining or nightclub environments is preferred but not required.
