Accounting Clerk

Accounting Clerk, 50k, Service Provider, Paterson

Job Responsibilities

Working with other Accounting Department employees on the following:

• Accounts Receivable

• Creating invoices and quotes in QuickBooks

• Documenting payments received

• Creating Bank Deposits

• Entering Payments and Deposits in QuickBooks

• Monitoring AR for past due

• Accounts Payable

• Reconciling Credit Card Statements with Vendor Invoices and verifying customer billing of purchases

• Auditing

• Monthly Auditing of all client subscriptions for invoicing

• Monthly Auditing of all Vendor Invoices to assure client billing is accurate

• Purchasing

• Acquiring quotes from approved vendors

• Processing orders and documenting progress: from order placement to receipt of materials

• Facilities

• Managing office supplies and materials

Ordering or facilitating the ordering of supplies as needed

• Performing Administrative Assistant duties for Executive Management

• Qualifications and Education:

• Fundamental knowledge of Accounts Receivable and Payable

• Strong attention to detail required

• Must be proficient using QuickBooks

• 2 years of experience supporting an IT/MSP/Computer-related company preferred
