Clara Martin Center is a non-profit community mental health center located in Central Vermont. We provide a variety of high quality behavioral health services to the residents of Orange County and surrounding towns, with offices located in Randolph, Bradford, Chelsea and Wilder.
We are looking for a dynamic Billing Manager who will be responsible for the oversight, optimization, and coordination of the agency's revenue cycle operations and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, supporting both clinical and financial workflows. This position serves as a key liaison between clinical operations, finance, billing, compliance, quality improvement, and information technology teams to ensure effective system design, workflow efficiency, regulatory compliance, data integrity, reporting accuracy, and revenue optimization. The Manager provides leadership in EHR development, implementation, configuration, report writing, and continuous process improvement to support organizational performance, CCBHC reporting requirements, and strategic initiatives.
Essential Functions:
Revenue Cycle Management Team Supervision
· Provide direct supervision, leadership, and support to the Revenue Cycle Management team, including billing, claims, accounts receivable, and related revenue cycle staff.
· Provide agency-wide oversight of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, including clinical, operational, and financial modules.
· Ensure clinical documentation workflows meet federal, state, CCBHC, Medicaid, Medicare, CARF, and payer requirements.
· Oversee EHR billing configuration, including payer setup, fee schedules, service codes, modifiers, charge capture rules, and reimbursement methodologies.
· Design, develop, and maintain operational, financial, clinical, quality, and compliance reports.
