What are the responsibilities and job description for the Generalist Clinician position at Clara Martin Center?
We are seeking to hire a 32 hour per week Master Level Clinician to provide assessment and evaluation services, outpatient psychotherapy, outreach and referral services to adults, children and families who are experiencing mental health or substance use issues, or who are in need of justice involved treatment services. Services are provided as part of a team based, person centered, collaborative approach in our outpatient clinic located in Randolph, VT.
Essential functions include:
· Conducts clinical assessments, formulates diagnosis, and recommendations for treatment.
· Complete all necessary paperwork to open charts, document progress and discharge when appropriate.
· Provides outpatient psychotherapy, case management, treatment planning & referral services with individuals, groups and families. Documents clinical services in an electronic medical record.
Education Master's degree and license/certification (preferred) in Psychology and/or related field. Counseling experience with a wide variety of individuals and circumstances preferred. Assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills are essential.
