Key Responsibilities
CCTV & Security Operations
- Monitor multiple surveillance systems covering residential buildings, parking areas, entrances, exits, and common spaces
- Observe and identify suspicious activity, unauthorized access attempts, safety concerns, or policy violations
- Maintain awareness of ongoing activity throughout the property
- Follow established procedures when security concerns are identified
- Maintain consistent communication with dispatches through phone, radio, or other approved communication methods
- Report incidents, disturbances, hazards, and unusual activity promptly
- Escalate emergencies and urgent situations according to site procedures
- Coordinate with emergency responders when necessary
- Support a safe and orderly residential environment through proactive monitoring
- Observe resident and visitor activity while maintaining professionalism and discretion
- Assist with site access procedures when directed
- Serve as a visible security presence while on duty
- Complete daily activity logs accurately and on time
- Document incidents, observations, and security-related events in detailed reports
- Maintain confidentiality regarding resident information and property operations
- Follow all post orders, client requirements, and company standards
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Reliable personal vehicle for transportation to and from the work site
- Ability to consistently work the assigned weekend schedule
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain attentive while monitoring surveillance systems for extended periods
- Professional demeanor and dependable attendance
- Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment
- Previous experience in security, surveillance monitoring, dispatch operations, or customer service
- Experience working within apartment communities, residential housing, or property management environments
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and electronic reporting platforms
- Strong attention to detail and report-writing abilities
- Experience identifying and documenting security-related incidents
