Position Summary
Citadel Security USA is currently seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Officer to provide daytime coverage for commercial properties in the Salisbury area. This role involves traveling between multiple sites, conducting routine checks, and helping maintain a secure and orderly environment.
This position is well-suited for individuals who are self-motivated, attentive to detail, and comfortable working independently while following structured patrol routes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled vehicle patrols across assigned properties
- Perform site inspections, including parking lots, building exteriors, and access points
- Watch for unauthorized individuals, safety concerns, or property damage
- Take appropriate action based on site procedures and company guidelines
- Maintain a visible presence to help discourage unwanted activity
- Complete daily patrol logs and incident reports with accurate details
- Communicate any issues, hazards, or updates to supervisors promptly
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license required
- At least 3 years of licensed driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Ability to work extended daytime weekend shifts
- Strong observation and decision-making skills
- Reliable attendance and ability to work independently
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in mobile patrol or security roles
- Familiarity with incident reporting and documentation practices
- Experience working with minimal supervision in field-based positions
Work Environment
- Patrol-based role covering multiple commercial locations
- Majority of shift spent driving with periodic site checks
- Outdoor exposure may vary based on property and weather conditions
- Requires sustained attention and awareness throughout the shift
