Security Officer

Citadel Security USA is seeking reliable and proactive security professionals to join our Mobile Patrol team in Sheridan, Colorado. This full-time overnight position is responsible for providing security coverage across multiple client properties through vehicle and foot patrols, property inspections, and responsive security services.

Position Information

• Location: Sheridan, CO 80110
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Pay: Up to $23.50 per hour
• Schedule: Wednesday to Saturday: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM | Sunday to Tuesday: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  
  

Key Responsibilities

Mobile Patrol Operations

• Travel between multiple client locations throughout the assigned shift
• Conduct scheduled vehicle and foot patrols of commercial and residential properties
• Inspect doors, gates, parking lots, perimeter fencing, and common areas
• Verify that properties remain secure during non-business hours
• Maintain a visible security presence to help discourage criminal activity
  
  

Site Monitoring & Response

• Investigate suspicious activity, safety concerns, or unauthorized access attempts
• Respond to alarm activations and other security-related service requests
• Assess situations quickly and take appropriate action based on post instructions
• Report hazards, property damage, or operational concerns to supervisors
• Assist with lockouts, welfare checks, and other client-directed services when assigned
  
  

Reporting & Communication

• Complete detailed patrol reports and incident documentation
• Maintain accurate records of patrol activity and service calls
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, management, clients, and emergency responders
• Utilize mobile reporting systems and company communication tools as required
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Minimum two years of experience in security, patrol operations, field services, law enforcement support, or a related role
• Ability to work overnight 12-hour shifts on a consistent schedule
• Strong observational and situational awareness skills
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to make sound decisions while working independently
• Dependable attendance and professional work ethic
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience conducting mobile patrols across multiple locations
• Prior alarm response or after-hours service experience
• Familiarity with electronic reporting platforms and mobile workforce applications
• Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
