Cimarron is seeking a Property Specialist to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL.
Key Duties
- Support the Site Lead with property management and logistics requirements.
- Ensure the proper development and execution of all property management outcomes, with a focus on materials management, data integrity, physical inventory, and customer support operations.
- Assist the Self-Assessment Team with internal reviews, audits, and performance evaluations.
- Conduct internal audit activities focused on data mining, review, comparison, and correction of both physical and electronic records.
- Perform records reviews and updates, provide data corrections, make recommendations for process improvement, and assess compliance with procedures.
- Maintain strong data management practices and demonstrate the ability to understand or learn requirements outlined in applicable regulations and processes.
- Execute records management and maintain updates to the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Provide high-level support across all property management responsibilities and outcomes, as assigned.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.
- This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire. - Active Secret Clearance.
- 4 or more years of general, full-time work experience
- 2 or more years of directly related experience
- Strong understanding of FAR Part 52 and the standard contract property clause 52.245-1 as it relates to the accountability of Government property.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., stand for extended periods, and stoop or reach to move boxes and retrieve property.
- Proficient in data entry skills with the ability to create, update, and correct large volumes of records accurately and efficiently.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to conduct database and internet research effectively.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment, including forklifts.
- Working knowledge of Unique Item Identification (UID) requirements under DFARS clauses 252.211-7003 and 252.211-7007.
- Operational understanding of applicable FAR, DFARS, and DoD (DODI) directives related to the management of Government property in the possession of contractors.
- Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) initiatives, enterprise operations, and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Disposal Services procedures.
- Knowledge of DTID, DLIS forms, and DD Form 1348-series documentation.
