LSSI is seeking a System Administrator to support and maintain its IT systems and infrastructure in alignment with CMMC 2.0 and NIST 800-171 cybersecurity requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft 365 administration and a strong understanding of cybersecurity compliance documentation. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure Active Directory.
- Develop, maintain, and update cybersecurity compliance documentation, including the System Security Plan (SSP), Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M), and relevant policies.
- Ensure systems and procedures align with CMMC 2.0 and NIST 800-171 controls.
- Collaborate with LSSI's partners to ensure compliance is maintained and security requirements are addressed.
- Monitor system performance, manage user access, and ensure data integrity and protection.
- Participate in audits and support efforts to close identified gaps.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration.
- Working knowledge of CMMC 2.0 and NIST SP 800-171 frameworks.
- Experience drafting and maintaining SSP, POA&M, and policy documents.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Security Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
Level:
- Open to Junior through Journeyman level candidates based on education, experience, or a combination thereof.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 depending on experience.
