What You Will Be Accountable For
- Review and evaluate a high volume of pre-recorded candidate interviews daily using established hiring guidelines and scoring rubrics.
- Maintain calibration with recruiting teams to ensure consistent and objective candidate assessments.
- Support sourcing and selection activities across corporate and operational recruiting functions.
- Schedule interviews, assessments, and pre-employment testing activities.
- Create and distribute interview guides utilizing recruiting software and internal systems.
- Communicate hiring decisions, candidate status updates, offers, and rejections through phone, email, and written correspondence.
- Collect, enter, maintain, and validate applicant and new hire information within ATS and HR systems.
- Process employment-related documentation, including I-9 verification, background checks, license verification, fingerprinting, medical clearances, and onboarding documentation.
- Support onboarding activities, including new hire system setup and data management.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of applicant and employee information at all times.
- Process recruiting requisitions and verify approvals for new and replacement positions.
- Post positions within applicant tracking systems and internal job posting platforms.
- Support high-volume hiring initiatives, mass hiring events, and bid processes.
- Coordinate interview scheduling and training class placement activities.
- Calculate salary determinations for applicable union and non-union positions.
- Serve as a liaison between recruiters, hiring managers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide exceptional customer service to candidates, employees, recruiters, and hiring managers.
- Respond promptly to inquiries while adhering to established service-level expectations.
- Escalate complex or non-routine issues as appropriate.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting operations, workflows, and staffing center processes.
- Participate in special projects and departmental initiatives as assigned.
- Experience supporting high-volume recruiting and talent acquisition operations.
- Experience interviewing, screening, and evaluating candidates against defined hiring criteria.
- Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), CRM platforms, and recruiting technologies.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in repetitive, process-driven work.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Working knowledge of employment practices, recruiting processes, and candidate lifecycle management.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and database systems.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Experience with Phenom CRM and talent acquisition platforms.
- Aviation, airline, or transportation industry recruiting experience.
- Experience supporting large-scale hiring initiatives or operational recruiting teams.
- Familiarity with Taleo or similar enterprise applicant tracking systems.
