Duties And Responsibilities
- Understands and supports the mission, vision and values of Harmony Public Schools.
- Leads full-cycle recruitment efforts for assigned districts, campuses, high-need staffing areas, and specialized positions.
- Develops and maintains candidate pipelines for instructional, leadership, hard-to-fill, and specialized positions through proactive sourcing strategies.
- Conducts candidate sourcing through job boards, social media platforms, networking, university partnerships, referrals, recruitment events, and community outreach initiatives.
- Screens applicants to assess qualifications, organizational fit, and hiring needs.
- Coordinates and participates in recruitment events, including career fairs, university visits, informational sessions,
- Develops and maintains professional partnerships with colleges, universities, alternative certification providers, educator
- Develops and implements targeted recruitment campaigns, employer branding strategies, recruitment materials, digital content, and social media outreach efforts to increase candidate engagement and applicant flow.
- Utilizes and maintains social media platforms and recruitment marketing tools to communicate career opportunities and promote organizational branding.
- Maintains ongoing communication with candidates and promptly responds to candidate emails, tickets, and stakeholder inquiries regarding recruitment and hiring processes.
- Utilizes applicant tracking systems, recruitment platforms, dashboards, and reporting tools to manage candidate pipelines, monitor hiring progress, and maintain accurate recruiting records and reports on open, posted, filled, and high-need positions.
- Assists districts in organizing recruitment initiatives and strategic staffing efforts for high-need subject areas and
- Assists with system-wide talent programs, including Teacher of the Year, Refer-a-Teacher, Years of Service, employee engagement initiatives, and other talent development programs.
- Travels regularly to recruitment events, universities, conferences, and networking opportunities to support organizational staffing needs.
- Stays current on labor market trends, educator shortages, and best practices in talent acquisition and recruitment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Strong communication, marketing and relationship building skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms with all levels of management, both internal and external to the district.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internal and external to the district.
- Ability to use computer including software, database used by the district, spreadsheet and word processing software,
- Ability to analyze data
- Ability to use effective interview techniques, effective public speaking skills, and problem-solving skills
- Light Work: may require occasional light lifting.
- Nights and weekend activities will be occasionally required.
- Position is in office setting and may involve prolonged work at a desk in one location.
- Moderate travel is required.
