- Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the general ledger and support month-end and year-end close processes
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger balances to ensure financial accuracy and integrity
- Apply GAAP-compliant revenue recognition standards in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Review and classify credit card transactions to ensure proper coding and timely entry into the general ledger
- Process and approve employee travel and expense reimbursements per company policy
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
- Assist with the preparation of schedules and documentation for external audits and internal reviews
- Analyze financial data to support cost control initiatives and identify opportunities for improved efficiency
- Support the Controller on ad hoc projects and special assignments
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- 2 years of accounting experience
- Strong Excel proficiency
- Solid understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting
