About the Role
The Staff Accountant plays a pivotal role in Wendover’s daily operations, owning accounting processes while supporting operational and strategic initiatives. You will work closely with the CFO, supporting to drive improvements in invoicing, collections, payables, inventory management, and reporting.
This position is designed for candidates who are analytical, operationally minded, and eager to grow into leadership roles in finance and operations. Wendover provides a fast-growth environment where top performers rapidly expand responsibilities and impact across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Support invoicing, collections, and cash applications.
- Prepare month-end journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Assist with inventory processes and month-end analytics.
- Assess and improve accounting procedures for scalability, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Develop ad hoc reports to guide management decision-making.
- Lead change management initiatives for the accounting department and broader organization.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payments and positive pay activities.
