- Serve as the primary liaison between accounting and project management teams
- Manage and analyze:
- Change orders
- Missing or delayed job costs
- Billing gaps and discrepancies
- Execute core accounting functions:
- Month-end close
- Journal entries
- Bank reconciliations
- Maintain and track fixed assets and depreciation (heavy equipment focus)
- Own and update Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules:
- Multi-month WIP cycles (~6 months)
- Detailed job-level profitability analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 3–7 years of accounting experience (construction industry strongly preferred)
- Hands-on experience with WIP and/or cost accounting highly preferred
- Strong understanding of job costing and project-based accounting
- Experience with Vista / Viewpoint or similar ERP systems a plus
- Ability to work cross-functionally with operations and project teams
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Base Salary: $90,000 – $100,000
- Bonus: Up to 10%
- Schedule: ~45 hours/week
- Option for 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Work Arrangement: 100% on-site (Baltimore, MD)
