Key Responsibilities
- Heavy general ledger accounting
- Month-end and period-end close activities
- Banking and ACH transactions, including reconciliations
- Managing accruals, prepaid expenses, and property tax accounting
- Supporting process improvements, including initiatives around AP automation
- Assisting with accounting functions beyond standard AP and AR
- Strong experience with full-cycle GL accounting
- Proven background in month-end close and reconciliations
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas)
- Experience working with vendors and cross-functional departments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt as needed
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Accounting degree is a plus, but not required
- Experience with Famous software is a plus
- Onsite, Monday–Friday, standard business hours
