What You Will Be Doing
- Developing and managing the global IT annual budget and rolling forecasts.
- Tracking actual spending against the budget and explaining any variances to leadership.
- Monitoring costs for hardware, software, cloud services (like AWS/Azure), and SaaS subscriptions.
- Identifying specific ways to optimize costs and improve financial efficiency across the department.
- Overseeing IT contracts and vendor relationships, including both onshore and offshore teams.
- Leading the RFP process for new vendors and managing contract renewals and compliance.
- Creating a centralized repository for all IT contracts to keep things organized and transparent.
- Verifying invoices to ensure billing is accurate and supporting automation in the procurement process.
- Preparing monthly and quarterly reports and dashboards to show financial trends to IT leaders.
- Partnering with project managers to help them track resource allocation and project spending.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in IT finance, FP&A, or a similar role supporting a technology team.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills, especially with financial modeling and scenario planning.
- Practical experience with ERP systems; experience with JD Edwards is a plus.
- A solid understanding of IT asset management and procurement processes.
- Strong analytical skills—you should be someone who can find the story in the data.
- Excellent communication & presentation skills to effectively communicate financial information.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced setting.
- A collaborative attitude and the ability to build relationships across different departments.
