The salary range listed in the job posting reflects base compensation only. A target discretionary bonus of 20%, paid monthly and based on company performance, is available in addition to base salary.

JOB SUMMARY
The IT Vendor & Financial Analyst is a key member of the Global Information Technology department, responsible for driving financial planning, analysis, and budget & vendor management across all IT teams. This role will focus on managing the global IT budget, conducting cost analysis, tracking spends against forecasts, and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
The Analyst will work closely with IT leadership and Finance department to ensure accurate forecasting, timing reporting and financial transparency across a wide range of technology initiatives. A critical part of this role includes overseeing IT contracts and vendor relationships (both onshore and offshore), ensuring proper tracking, compliance, and value realization.
This role requires strong analytical and organization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making within the IT organization.

Budgeting & Forecasting
- Develop and manage the IT department’s global annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Track actuals vs. budget, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights.
- Support IT cost center owners by facilitating standardized budgeting and financial processes across the IT department globally.
Cost Analysis & Optimization
- Monitor IT spending across hardware, software, licensing, cloud services, and vendor contracts.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and financial efficiency improvements.
- Proactively monitor and optimize cloud consumption and SaaS subscriptions.
- Perform invoice verification to ensure accurate billing.
- Support and implement automation initiatives in procurement and invoice processes.
- Maintain awareness of modern licensing models to guide financial decisions.
Vendor & Contract Management
- Assist in procurement and renewal of IT contracts and software licenses.
- Monitor vendor compliance, performance, and risk exposure.
- Facilitate and support RFP processes and vendor evaluation, including offshore vendor arrangements/management.
- Collaborate with legal and other functions to develop and maintain standardized contract templates, language, key terms, and documentation.
- Establish and maintain a centralized contract repository to improve visibility, organization and management of all IT contracts.
- Define and implement an offshore IT support model with clearly defined responsibilities for both onshore and offshore resources.
Reporting and Insights
- Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly financial reports to IT leadership and key stakeholders.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations to effectively communicate financial performance and trends.
- Define and monitor KPIs; Implement alerts to track budget and spending trends.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with IT, Finance, executives, and regional business leaders to align financial goals and strategies.
- Support project managers with financial tracking, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with external service providers and analysts to review and analyze contracts, vendor performance, and engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Advanced degree, CPA, CFA, PMP, CISA is a plus.
- 5-10 years of experience in IT finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), or related roles supporting the IT function, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, cost analysis, and scenario planning.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably JD Edwards) in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Familiarity with IT asset management, procurement, and capital expenditure processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to details.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial information.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working with IT and finance teams.
