Project Manager – Affordable Housing (Self-Performing Developer | Remote Periodic Site Visits)
We’re hiring a Project Manager to oversee ground-up and rehab affordable housing projects for a vertically integrated, self-performing developer. This is a remote role with occasional travel to project sites.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Manage budgets, schedules, and overall project performance
• Coordinate design, permitting, and entitlements
• Oversee subcontractors and internal self-perform crews
• Drive procurement, contract administration, and cost control
• Monitor quality, safety, and compliance with affordable housing requirements
• Track risks, resolve issues, and maintain clear stakeholder communication
• Support reporting for financing partners, agencies, and leadership
Qualifications
• 5–10 years of project management experience in multifamily or affordable housing
• Experience with self-perform construction strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of LIHTC/affordable housing programs and compliance
• Proficient in Procore (or similar), scheduling tools, and Excel
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
• Willingness to travel periodically to project sites
Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
