My client is looking for a Contracts Administrator to manage the lifecycle of construction contracts, ensuring they are legally compliant, financially sound, and aligned with project goals. The successful candidate will act as a critical link between project managers, legal teams, and subcontractors.
About the Role
Core Responsibilities
- Contract Lifecycle Management: Drafting, reviewing, and processing subcontracts, purchase agreements, and other legal documents.
- Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Ensuring all terms meet legal, regulatory, and safety standards while identifying potential financial or liability risks.
- Documentation & Record-Keeping: Maintaining organized digital and physical files for contracts, legal documents and correspondence.
- Financial Administration: Communicating with the accounting team to identify edits to payment terms as they relate with contractual terms.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Serving as a point of contact for external vendors and internal departments to resolve contract discrepancies or disputes.
Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or Finance is desired.
Required Skills
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in the legal, construction or engineering industry.
- Contract Knowledge: Proficiency with standard industry forms, e.g., AIA documents.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Procore, Docusign, Bluebeam, and ERP systems.
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, exceptional organization, and strong communication and analytical skills.
Salary : $55,000 - $75,000
