Entry-Level Construction Estimator
Location: Hartford, CT
Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 DOE
Our client, a well-established commercial general contractor, is seeking an Entry-Level Construction Estimator to join their growing preconstruction team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a long-term career in commercial construction.
Responsibilities
- Assist with quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
- Obtain and compare subcontractor and supplier pricing.
- Support the preparation of competitive bids.
- Work closely with senior estimators throughout the preconstruction process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 0–5 years of construction or estimating experience (internships welcomed).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within commercial construction.
