Location: Utica, NY, 13502

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 8-hour Eve | 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Weekly Pay Rate: $1,275 - $1,425; Depending on experience (negotiable)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Long Term Care team in Utica, NY. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of an RN or physician
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and document resident health and report changes to healthcare team
• Assist residents with daily living activities, including hygiene, feeding, and mobility
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements
• Provide emotional support to residents and their families
  
  

Required Requirements

• Active LPN License in the state of New York
• Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience
• Current BLS Certification (AHA)
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care
