Job Title: LVN / LPN – Long Term Care
Location: Utica, NY 13502
Duration: 13 Weeks (High Possibility of Extension)
Shift: Days & Nights Available
Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 Hours per Week
Compensation:
Local Pay: $30 – $35 per Hour
Travel Pay: $35 – $38 per Hour
Position Overview:
A reputable healthcare facility in the Utica area is seeking dedicated LVNs/LPNs for a 13-week assignment with strong potential for extension. Candidates must be able to perform core patient care responsibilities with minimal orientation and supervision.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in accordance with facility standards
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor and document patient condition and changes
Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary team members
Maintain compliance with state regulations and facility policies
Float to all units within the same building as required
Work every other weekend
Required Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Required Certifications & Licensure:
Current New York State LPN License
BLS Certification
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 1 Year of LPN Experience
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Flexibility to float within the facility
Strong communication and teamwork skills
