Pay Rate: $28 - $32 per hour; (Negotiable based on experience)

Shift: Night | 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team in a PRN (as-needed) capacity. As an LPN, you will provide quality nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) and physicians, ensuring the highest standard of patient care in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, administering medications, performing treatments, and assisting with daily activities.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, documenting changes and reporting concerns to the supervising RN or physician.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with facility policies and regulations.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients at all times.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
• Assist in patient education and counseling regarding health and wellness.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold HIPAA standards.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN license in the state of Connecticut.
• CPR/BLS certification (required).
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
