Registered Nurse-Obstetrics

Location: Atlantic, Iowa

Pay Rate: $2,500 To $2,736 /Week

Contract: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Night Shift | Every Third Weekend | 36 Hours/Week

Experience: Obstetrics Nursing Experience Preferred

We are seeking a Registered Nurse Obstetrics / Med Surg for a 13-week contract assignment in Atlantic, Iowa. This position provides nursing care across the Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Recovery units while supporting the Medical-Surgical unit when obstetric patient volume is low. The role requires flexibility, strong clinical skills, and a collaborative approach to patient care.

• Provide nursing care for Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Recovery patients.

• Float to the Medical-Surgical unit as needed based on patient census.

• Assess patient conditions, implement care plans, and monitor treatment progress.

• Administer medications, treatments, and patient education in accordance with established standards.

• Document patient care accurately and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) License required.

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.

• Experience in Obstetrics, Labor & Delivery, or Postpartum nursing preferred.

• Ability to float between Obstetrics and Medical-Surgical units.

• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
