About the Role
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist (CT Tech) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Gardner, Massachusetts. The CT Technologist will perform high-quality computerized tomography imaging procedures, prepare and position patients, administer contrast materials, and operate CT imaging equipment while maintaining patient safety and diagnostic image quality.
This position requires flexibility to provide first and second shift coverage, including weekends and holidays, based on department needs.
Responsibilities
Perform CT scans and produce high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.
Prepare and position patients appropriately while selecting proper scanning techniques, equipment settings, and technical factors.
Administer contrast materials safely and follow established contrast injection procedures.
Review imaging orders, maintain accurate patient and examination information, and document procedures in Meditech.
Follow radiation safety, infection control, patient privacy, and departmental safety standards throughout all procedures.
Requirements
Minimum 2 Years of CT Technologist Experience Required; experience with Toshiba CT scanners is a plus.
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program or equivalent.
Current Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist License Required.
ARRT(R) Certification Required; ARRT(CT) Certification Preferred.
Strong CT imaging, patient positioning, contrast administration, communication, organization, and patient-care skills required.
