We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RT) for a 15-week night-shift contract in Hilo, Hawaii. The Respiratory Therapist will provide comprehensive respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients, including continuous airway management and invasive and non-invasive ventilator support.

Candidates must have an active Hawaii Respiratory Therapy license by the start of the assignment and previous travel/contract experience, as first-time assignments are not accepted. The scheduled shift is 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM for three 12-hour shifts per week.

• Provide continuous airway management and comprehensive respiratory therapy services to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.

• Manage and support patients requiring invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation.

• Operate respiratory equipment including PB 980, PB 840, V60, and ParaPAC transport ventilators.

• Collaborate with physicians and clinical team members regarding respiratory care and patient treatment needs.

• Provide CPR support and complete required respiratory care documentation using computerized clinical systems.

• Minimum 2 Years of Respiratory Therapy Experience Required; First-Time Travel Assignments Are Not Accepted.

• Current Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License Required by Contract Start.

• Current BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications Required.

• Experience Caring for Adult, Pediatric, and Neonatal Patient Populations Required.

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credential and NRP Certification Preferred; Flu Vaccination or Approved Medical/Religious Exception Required Prior to Start.
