Pay Rate: $ 2,100 To $ 2,374 Per week

Schedule: Day/Evening Shifts

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Urgent Care for a 13-week contract in Juneau, Alaska. The RN will provide clinical nursing services in a fast-paced ambulatory urgent care environment while supporting providers, patients, and overall clinic operations.

The position requires recent Urgent Care experience, strong assessment and critical-thinking skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with providers and other healthcare departments. An active Alaska RN license is required at the time of submission.

• Perform patient assessments, anticipate clinical needs, collect specimens, and provide appropriate nursing interventions in the urgent care setting.

• Collaborate with providers and clinic staff to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation while completing assigned nursing duties according to established standards.

• Support clinic operations, including point-of-care quality controls, medication and supply management, and opening or closing provider clinics as assigned.

• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and other departments while maintaining infection-control, safety, and quality standards.

• Minimum 2 Years of Urgent Care Experience Required; Urgent Care Experience Must Be Within the Last 2 Years.

• Current, Active Alaska Registered Nurse License Required at Time of Submission.

• Current BLS Certification Required.

• Proof of Current Flu Vaccination Required.

• Ability to Work Variable Shifts During 8:00 AM–8:00 PM Urgent Care Hours, Including Required Holiday Coverage, and Complete Fingerprint Processing Prior to Start Required.
