We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Rehabilitation / Med-Surg Float for a 13-week contract in Nashua, New Hampshire. The RN will primarily provide nursing care on the inpatient Rehabilitation unit and will float to Medical-Surgical when staffing or patient care needs require.

The position involves comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, clinical documentation, patient education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and delivery of safe nursing care in accordance with established policies and standards.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care, including patient assessments, care planning, interventions, reassessments, and clinical documentation.

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments while monitoring patients for changes in condition and communicating significant findings.

• Coordinate patient care through bedside shift reports, multidisciplinary rounds, hourly rounding, and collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Provide patient and family education while promoting safety, continuity of care, infection prevention, and quality improvement initiatives.

• Float between Rehabilitation and Medical-Surgical units based on patient care and staffing needs while maintaining required competencies.

• Registered Nurse Candidates With Less Than 1 Year of Experience May Be Considered.

• Current, Active New Hampshire Registered Nurse License Required.

• Current BLS Certification Required.

• Basic Dysrhythmia Competency and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training Preferred or Must Be Completed Prior to the End of Orientation as Applicable.

• Graduate of an Approved Nursing Program Preferred; Ability to Work Varied Shifts, Float to Medical-Surgical, and Provide Required Holiday Coverage Required.

This contract opportunity is suited for an RN comfortable providing rehabilitation nursing care and floating to Medical-Surgical based on clinical needs.
