Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join the Central Dauphin School District as a Secretary II in our Print Shop. This full-time position plays a crucial role in supporting the administrative functions of the district by managing the copy and print services. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality service to staff and students.
Responsibilities
- Operate high-volume copiers and printers to produce various materials, including but not limited to worksheets, newsletters, and promotional materials. Operate production cutter, jogger, shredder, and 3 hole punch drill.
- Use EFI MarketDirect StoreFront software to process online job tickets and send notifications when requests have been completed.
- Maintain inventory of paper, ink, and other supplies necessary for the copy shop operations.
- Assist staff in preparing and formatting documents for printing, ensuring all materials meet quality standards.
- Manage the scheduling of printing requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is in good working order and reporting any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with other administrative staff to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the copy shop.
- Provide exceptional customer service to staff and faculty, addressing any inquiries or concerns related to copy services.
- Perform clerical duties as needed, including filing, data entry, and maintaining records of print jobs.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience within a copy/print shop preferred.
- Proficiency in operating copiers, printers, and other office equipment, with a strong understanding of printing processes.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with staff and students.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a positive attitude and a willingness to assist others.
