Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance tasks across all school facilities.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure optimal functionality of buildings and grounds.
- Lead, train, and evaluate maintenance staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, safety, and accountability.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, equipment, and tools, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with school administration to prioritize maintenance projects and address urgent repair needs.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems.
- Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inspections for reporting purposes.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to school operations.

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in maintenance or facility management preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance, facility management, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to pass background checks as required by school district policies.

Salary : $62,665 - $87,731
