ESY Physical Therapist- Multiple Openings

Summary:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist's to join our team for the Extended School Year (ESY) program. The Extended School Year (ESY) Physical Therapist provides physical therapy services to eligible students during the summer program to support the maintenance of mobility, motor, and functional skills in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services aligned with students’ IEP goals.
• Support development and maintenance of gross motor, mobility, balance, and functional movement skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers.
• Consult with staff regarding positioning, mobility equipment, and safe transfers.
• Maintain required service documentation and student progress records.
• Participate in IEP-related meetings as needed during the ESY program.
• Ensure a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.
• Follow district policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.

Requirements:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapy License.
• Experience working with children in a school-based or pediatric setting.
• Familiarity with IEPs, ESY services, and special education regulations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Hours of Work:

• 7:30 am - 12:30 pm

Up to 6 hours per week to be determined by enrollment

Dates of Program:

• 7/7/2026 - 7/30/2026

Class Days:

• Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday

Locations:

• Elementary - Mt. View Elementary
• Secondary - CD East High
