Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Planning & Scheduling Lead Engineer to support early-stage development and execution planning for offshore oil & gas projects, including FPSO, SURF, and Deepwater pipeline projects. This role will lead project scheduling, execution planning, schedule analysis, and contractor schedule reviews to support project decisions from pre-FID through execution.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules (Level 1/Level 2) using Primavera P6.
- Evaluate contractor schedules for logic, sequencing, critical path, risks, and compliance.
- Perform schedule analysis, forecasting, progress measurement, and trend reporting.
- Develop recovery plans, corrective actions, and schedule optimization strategies.
- Support execution planning, scenario evaluation, and project risk assessments.
- Review contractor execution plans, bid evaluations, and schedule impacts of project changes.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and project leadership teams.
- Support FPSO, SURF, and offshore pipeline project development activities.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in offshore oil & gas project planning, project controls, or scheduling.
- FPSO and/or SURF project experience required.
- Strong Primavera P6 experience (schedule development, analysis, and contractor review).
- Experience with Pre-FEED, FEED, Concept Select, and pre-FID project phases.
- Experience with integrated schedules, critical path analysis, and contractor management.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
Preferred Experience:
- Offshore fabrication, installation, commissioning, and startup planning.
- Deepwater project execution experience.
- Schedule risk analysis and execution scenario development.
