Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to support the development, integration, and testing of software for advanced aerospace and space systems. In this role, you will develop software that controls test equipment, automates testing, and supports the verification of mission-critical systems while working with a collaborative Agile engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain software using Python (C and TCL are a plus).
• Design and integrate software for embedded and test systems.
• Debug software and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Support automated testing using Jenkins and Robot Framework.
• Work in Linux and/or Windows environments.
• Participate in Agile Scrum meetings, code reviews, and design reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure system requirements are met.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or another STEM field.
• 8 years of software development experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Strong experience programming in **Python**.
• Experience with software integration, testing, and debugging.
• Experience working in Linux and/or Windows environments.
• Familiarity with software configuration management tools.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a **DoD Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance**.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with C and TCL/TK.
• Experience with Jenkins, Robot Framework, Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
• Experience controlling electronic test equipment through software (oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, etc.).
• Experience working with RF, digital, or optical systems.
• Experience in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Active **TS/SCI Clearance** is a plus.
