In this role, you will act as a key creative force in developing high-impact packaging-ranging from boxes to hangtags and labels-while collaborating with dynamic cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Brand Packaging Creation: Partnering with the Senior Packaging Specialist to design compelling brand packaging (boxes, hangtags, labels, etc.) that aligns with established brand guidelines.
- End-to-End Execution: Following projects from initial concept to shelf placement-reviewing, proofing, approving components before press, and ensuring accurate execution.
- Tool & Asset Delivery: Compiling and releasing visual tools and artwork assets requested by both internal and external stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Collaborating with Product Development, Vendors, Agents, and internal teams throughout the design process to align on expectations and deadlines.
- Prototypes & Photography: Assisting with package photography requirements and executing physical prototypes for presentation and approval needs.
- Special Projects: Managing category deadlines and executing special projects as assigned.
- Experience: Approximately 4-6 years of design-related experience. Prior retail packaging design experience is strongly preferred.
- Education: BFA or a related degree in design preferred.
- Technical Skills: High fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator and Photoshop) along with standard supporting office applications.
- Design Acumen: An excellent sense of color, typography, and style suitable for retail brand packaging.
- Professional Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational, communication, and presentation skills. Proven ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive under tight deadlines.
