CEIS is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to support cost control and financial performance on large-scale data center construction projects. This role is responsible for managing project costs, supporting change management, and ensuring alignment between scope, schedule, and budget in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. The ideal candidate brings experience supporting hyperscale or large commercial construction projects, with a strong understanding of subcontractor management, cost tracking, and construction financial processes. This individual will work closely with project managers, engineers, and accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting and successful project delivery.

Responsibilities
- Support development of project budgets, estimates, and cost plans for data center construction projects
- Track and monitor project costs, budgets, and forecasts across multiple trades (civil, structural, MEP)
- Manage and maintain owner and subcontractor change order logs
- Support subcontractor buyout, contract administration, and procurement processes
- Review subcontractor invoices and support payment approvals based on work in place
- Analyze cost performance, identify risks, and provide recommendations to project leadership
- Assist with preparation of financial reports including cost forecasts, revenue tracking, and variance analysis
- Support monthly financial close processes and reporting requirements
- Coordinate closely with project teams to align cost impacts with schedule and scope changes
- Participate in site walks and field audits to verify progress and validate cost reporting
- Maintain accurate documentation within project management and cost control systems
- Support continuous improvement of cost control processes across the project lifecycle
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 38 years of experience in construction cost control, quantity surveying, or project controls
- Experience supporting data center, mission-critical, or large commercial construction projects strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of construction cost structures, contracts, and change management processes
- Experience supporting MEP-intensive scopes (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cost tracking/reporting tools
- Experience with systems such as Procore, SAP, Primavera P6, or similar
- Ability to analyze cost data and communicate findings to project stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
