Primary Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and install Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs) to support secure sensor and video data transmission.
- Ensure consistent, uninterrupted communications between sensors, servers, and storage systems in real-time environments.
- Build and support LAN architectures for radar, LIDAR, video analytics, and other intrusion detection systems.
- Perform diagnostics and network troubleshooting using Command Prompt and other advanced tools.
- Support data stream formatting and transmission (e.g., XML, CSV, binary formats) for output into analysis platforms.
- Record, store, and retrieve video and sensor telemetry across multiple secure environments.
- Coordinate with engineers, data scientists, and vendors to align network performance with sensor integration needs.
- Proficiency in network development and system-level IT infrastructure buildouts.
- Experience with data stream formatting, transformation, and routing for real-time processing.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, including use of Command Line Interface (CLI) tools for performance analysis.
- Familiarity with sensor-to-network integration and real-time data recording systems.
- Exposure to or experience with Deliberate Motion Analytics (DMA) tools and platforms.
- 120240V Power Certification (desired, not required).
- Familiarity with secure facility environments, particularly within DOE or national lab systems.
