Cedar Park Med is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a Pediatric Float Pool assignment. This role requires experience working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and the ability to provide safe, compassionate care while supporting pediatric patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Schedule / Shift

Evening and Night shifts
-
Mix of 4, 8-hour shifts, and 4, 12-hour shifts | 80 hours every two weeks
-
Every other weekend and some holidays required
-
13 weeks assignment with possible extension
***Hiring for both local and traveler positions! Only candidates outside a 50-mile radius qualify for traveler roles. Rates vary based on experience and whether the position is local or traveler.***
Required Qualifications
-
Current New York State CNA certification
-
Level 1 trauma experience
-
One (1) year of patient care experience

Able to obtain and maintain CPR certification
Must be willing to FLOAT!
Preferred Qualifications

Pediatric patient care experience

Float pool or multi-unit experience
Responsibilities
-
Perform direct and indirect nursing care activities, including obtaining vital signs, toileting, bathing, and feeding patients based on assignment

Serve as a safety companion for patients identified as a safety risk

Demonstrate strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach

Work collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team

Demonstrate knowledge of normal growth and development and respond to changing patient needs

Maintain a safe work environment and participate in quality improvement initiatives

Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and maintain positive public relations

Obtain, record, exchange, and convey patient information accurately
