St. Cloud Carefree Living is looking for a Full-time Maintenance Director/Supervisor to join our growing and established Assisted Living community in St. Cloud, MN. Schedule: Position is full-time days, Monday - Friday, on-call as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform maintenance tasks to maintain the facility in a safe condition.
- Preventative maintenance
- General repairs
- Ensure yard and parking area is clean at all times, keep sidewalk swept in summer and free of snow and ice in winter.
- Painting and adjustments to building systems.
- Equipment and fixture repairs
- Garbage removal
- Operational efficiency and cost effectiveness
- Personal safety within the 95 unit building and grounds of the facility.
- This role will provide supervision and leadership for the Maintenance staff to ensure that they have the proper tools and equipment necessary to complete the essential functions of their job.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and accurately follow through on work activities to meet timelines as well as to work independently with a minimum amount of direction and/or supervision.
- Two-year technical degree or equivalent in building maintenance or related field is preferred.
- Display positive work habits and willingness to accept new tasks as needed.
- Ability to maintain excellent interpersonal and cooperative relationships with management, staff, residents and residents' family.
- Candidates will be subject to a criminal background study and must be able to meet the mental and physical requirements of the position.
