Key responsibilities
Purpose Of The Role
- Responsible for coordinating the procurement activities of the cluster hotels and its affiliated companies.
- Assist the Cluster Procurement Manager (CPM) for the function of Cluster Procurement of all Departments within the Hotels i.e., Store, Kitchen (direct purchase), Housekeeping and Maintenance. Procurement (including supplier selection & negotiation and setting up price for fruits and vegetables)
- Assist the CPM during tenders, cluster deals, CAPEX, OPEX and any other assignment towards delivering high level procurement services to the companies of the cluster hotels.
- Maintain and regularly update an approved supplier list to ensure compliance and readiness for procurement activities.
- Verify and approve the list of potential suppliers through designated authorities to ensure fair inclusion and prevent unjustified exclusions.
- Ensure that all tendering activities comply with the company’s procurement policies and procedures, promoting transparency and accountability.
- Use a standardised form to request additions or changes to the vendor master file, ensuring data integrity and traceability.
- Conduct regular market research to benchmark current prices of fruits and vegetables, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with market trends.
- 4Negotiate with approved suppliers to secure optimal pricing and quality, considering seasonality, availability, and supply chain dynamics.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs, priorities, and constraints, ensuring alignment with operational goals and service delivery standards.
- Negotiate supplier contracts and service agreements, ensuring favourable terms and compliance with procurement policies.
