We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Developer with strong .NET and SQL Server expertise to support, maintain, and enhance business-critical applications within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with exceptional attention to detail, capable of assessing legacy systems, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing enhancements while ensuring system stability and minimizing regression risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, analyze, and support existing legacy applications and databases.
Design, develop, test, and implement enhancements to .NET-based applications and SQL Server solutions.
Perform detailed impact analysis and ensure all changes are thoroughly validated to prevent regressions and production issues.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand manufacturing processes and translate requirements into effective solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and integration issues.
Develop and execute unit, integration, and regression testing strategies.
Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
Participate in code reviews and promote development best practices.
Required Qualifications:
7 years of experience in software development using C#/.NET Framework/.NET Core.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including query optimization, stored procedures, database design, and performance tuning.
Experience working with and enhancing legacy applications and systems.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and change management practices.
Proven experience performing detailed impact analysis and regression risk assessment.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the manufacturing domain, including production, supply chain, inventory, quality, or shop floor operations.
Familiarity with ERP, MES, WMS, or manufacturing execution systems.
Experience integrating applications using REST APIs, web services, middleware, or message-based architectures.
Knowledge of Azure cloud services, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with automated testing frameworks and regression testing methodologies.
Exposure to modernization initiatives involving migration of legacy applications to newer technology platforms.
Experience supporting mission-critical applications in a 24x7 production environment.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
Knowledge of reporting and analytics tools such as SSRS or Power BI.
