We are seeking a motivated Junior Developer with foundational experience in .NET and SQL Server to support and enhance business applications within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will assist in assessing legacy systems, implementing enhancements, and ensuring that all changes are carefully tested to minimize regression risks and maintain system stability.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the maintenance, enhancement, and troubleshooting of existing .NET applications and SQL Server databases.
Assist in assessing and understanding legacy applications and business processes.
Develop, test, and deploy application enhancements under the guidance of senior developers.
Participate in impact analysis and regression testing to ensure changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
Write and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
Assist in troubleshooting application, database, and integration issues.
Collaborate with business users and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards and best practices.
Support production systems and assist with issue resolution as needed.
Required Qualifications:
5 years of experience in software development using C#/.NET Framework or .NET Core.
Basic to intermediate experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including writing queries and stored procedures.
Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and software development fundamentals.
Exposure to web applications, APIs, or application integrations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to existing systems and processes.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently while seeking guidance when needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to the manufacturing domain through projects, internships, or work experience.
Familiarity with ERP, MES, inventory, production, or supply chain systems.
Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and web application development.
Exposure to REST APIs and application integration concepts.
Familiarity with source control tools such as Git or Azure DevOps.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience supporting or working with legacy applications.
