Responsibilities:
The Equity Research Associate will support senior analysts covering the Semiconductor and Semiconductor Equipment sectors, contributing to differentiated research, financial analysis, and investment insights for institutional clients. - Develop, maintain, and update detailed company and industry-specific financial models
- Perform fundamental financial analysis, including valuation and forecasting
- Conduct in-depth research on companies, industry dynamics, and macro trends impacting the semiconductor supply chain
- Assist in the preparation of research reports, notes, and client presentations
- Monitor earnings releases, news flow, and industry developments
- Participate in calls and meetings with company management teams and institutional investors
- Contribute to idea generation and thematic research across coverage universe
- Collaborate closely with senior analysts and broader research team
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in equity research, investment banking, or a related financial role (sell-side experience preferred)
- Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
- Solid understanding of the semiconductor industry and supply chain dynamics
- Demonstrated interest in equity markets and corporate finance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality research content
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- MBA and/or CFA designation (or progress toward) is a plus, but not required
Salary: $100,000 - $140,000
The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis considering a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package (including health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) retirement), this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
