Job Title: EEG Technician
Location: Mattoon, IL
Duration: 13 Weeks (with possible extension)
Shift Type: Every other Monday & Tuesday – 8-Hour Shifts (16 hours every two weeks)

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience — Required
• EMG/Neuro diagnostic experience — Required

Certifications

• ABRET (Registered EEG Technologist) — Required
• BLS (AHA) — Required

Job Overview

The EEG Technician is responsible for conducting electroencephalographic (EEG) and related neurodiagnostic procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders. Duties include:

• Preparing patients and explaining testing procedures
• Setting up and calibrating EEG and EMG equipment
• Monitoring and recording brain wave activity during tests
• Identifying and reporting abnormal results to physicians
• Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring equipment functionality
