Job Type: Travel / Contract (13 Weeks)
Hours: 36 hours/week guaranteed
Schedule
- Shift: Nights
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts
- Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
- On-Call: None
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join a fast-paced emergency department providing high-quality care for a wide range of emergency and trauma patients. This role requires strong clinical judgment, rapid response skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in high-acuity situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, prioritize, and provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
- Monitor patient conditions and respond rapidly to critical situations
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
- Support trauma, cardiac, neurological, and medical emergency cases
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Ensure compliance with emergency care protocols and patient safety standards
Requirements
- Active Michigan RN license
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
Preferred Certifications
- TNCC
- ENPC
- NRP
Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,200.00 per week
