Travel MRI Technologist in Gainesville, FL
- Duration: 13 Weeks with possible extension
- Shift: 8H Evenings, Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM 40 hours guaranteed
- Pay- $2500 to $2750 for Traveler
- Pay- $50 to $55 hourly
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of MRI experience in a hospital setting
Siemens MRI experience is required (XA & B platforms)
ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT required
Overview
We are seeking a Travel MRI Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team. This role involves providing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) services at various healthcare facilities across different locations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in medical imaging techniques, including MRI, CT scans, DEXA scans, and sonography, with a comprehensive understanding of anatomy and physiology. As a Travel MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for delivering accurate diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Conduct additional imaging modalities such as CT scans, DEXA scans for bone density assessment, and sonography as required
- Prepare patients by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the process
- Apply aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment and prevent infections during invasive or sensitive procedures
- Review patient medical histories and understand medical terminology to facilitate accurate diagnostic evaluation
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to interpret images and ensure optimal diagnostic quality
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient information, and technical findings
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience in a hospital setting
- Siemens MRI experience is required (XA & B platforms)
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT required
- BLS AHA
Pay: $2,500.00 - $2,750.00 per week
