Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Schedule

• Shift: Days
• Hours: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• On-Call: Possible per department needs
• Weekend Requirement: As needed per facility policy

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a high-acuity Radiology department within a major teaching hospital. This role involves performing advanced MRI procedures across multiple patient populations while ensuring exceptional patient care and imaging quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures for inpatient, outpatient, trauma, and emergency patients
• Conduct scans including:
• Brain
• Spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
• Abdomen & pelvis
• Musculoskeletal imaging
• Chest imaging
• Prepare and administer contrast media as ordered
• Start peripheral IVs when required
• Operate MRI equipment and PACS systems
• Ensure patient safety and MRI safety compliance
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Float to other qualified units/campuses based on operational needs

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI Tech experience
• Active ARRT (MR) certification
• Active South Carolina license (SCQRSA)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Experience with GE or Siemens MRI equipment required

Preferred Experience

• Teaching hospital or trauma center experience
• Adult acute care and outpatient imaging experience
• Experience across all age groups including pediatric and geriatric patients

Pay: $2,500.00 - $2,800.00 per week
