Under the supervision of the Worksite Security Supervisor and Lead Incident Response Specialist, the incumbent works at an entry level supporting Franchise Tax Board's (FTB) Emergency Preparedness Program. The role requires exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills to assist with this program, analyze data, and provide recommendations that align with bureau goals and Emergency Preparedness best practices.
The incumbent will assist in a variety of analytical, consultative, planning, training, and coordination duties related to FTB’s Emergency Preparedness Program. As an Emergency Preparedness team member, the incumbent will perform critical and specialized functions that have an enterprise-wide impact, which include operational preparedness, enterprise and bureau plans, as well as policy development and implementation. The incumbent is expected to maintain the highest degree of integrity, honesty, and confidentiality and use discretion and good judgment in the execution of their official duties.
Position may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.
